DXC Technology Hiring Freshers 2023 | For Associate Professional Accountant

The following job requirements are looking for an individual who has attained a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or a related field, or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Although it is preferred that the individual have a Bachelor’s degree, it is not required.

Additionally, the individual must have zero or more years of accounting or finance experience, as well as experience working in a student employment program or related experience.

Furthermore, the candidate must have experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software.

In addition to these basic qualifications, the individual should possess a strong skill set including personal computer and business solutions software skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills for communicating with support personnel and management, good analytical and problem solving skills, and planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.

Finally, the individual should be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

The essential job functions for this role include preparing and posting regular journal entries for company accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.

The job also entails reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts with the general ledger, researching any discrepancies that arise, and making recommendations for appropriate action.

Additionally, this position involves developing basic spreadsheets for account analysis and journal entries, to keep records organized and standardized.

Supporting special projects, such as accounting software updates, may also be necessary. The incumbent may also conduct studies and recommend procedural and process improvements.

Furthermore, they may provide assistance with installing, modifying, documenting, and coordinating implementation of accounting systems and accounting control procedures.
